Windan Sea Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

I have never been treated so rudely from a business owner before. I ordered a latte and it honestly just tasted like steamed milk so I walked back and nicely let him know because I had been there the day prior and had the exact order and it was just fine. He proceeds to yell at me saying “what do you want me to do? It’s a single shot it’s been the same for 17 years I don’t know what to tell you”. I was stunned. He said I could buy an extra shot to put in there but at that point I just walked away. For a $4 latte I don’t understand why he couldn’t just fix it and move on, really should not have been that big of a scene.

I absolutely love this cafe. I have been here twice about one year about and both experiences were great. The first time I came, I was lucky enough to try the Seabass ceviche and it was incredible. I had the lox bagel my most recent visit. Only down sides it’s extremely busy sometimes and a small environment but it a unique atmosphere. Other times it’s not as busy and I was lucky enough to talk to the man running the place. He takes so many orders while simultaneously making coffee and food, feeding the locals of San Diego! I went home and added caviar to my lox bagel for my birthday …. Delish.

Vahik has created a wonderful cafe with a basic and healthy menu ranging from coffee to sandwiches and salads. Both Vahik and his wife are very welcoming and thoughtful to each and every customer that walk through the door. I can see why people always come back. If you've never been to Vahiks Cafe then I highly recommend you stop in. I love this place!!!

Best breakfast place in La Jolla, all natural with real eggs. The coffee and signature ones will not disappoint. Prices are very good. You must try. Family owned. We had spinach omelet and breakfast burrito better than Richard walkers breakfast place in the area. I give it 10 star if I could. Excellent food and service

Had a veggie omelet. Could’ve used some potatoes, but the omelet was excellent. Never would have thought of putting eggplant in an omelet, but I loved it! Latte was excellent as well.
