Yami-ichi - Reservar uma mesa

Small Restaurant in a strip mall with minimal ambience, yet each dish served as it would be in Japan: on a tray with stone crockery. Sake in a Masa Cup; Ramen with a shallow wood spoon shaped like a ladle (actually hard to eat from so I gauchely drank from the bowl). There is a small Sushi Menu don't expect fancy, trendy, jumbo rolls, just tasty, fresh fresh served at room temperature, plated simply. This is basically a kitchen restaurant serving Soba or Udon with various ingredients in soup or Danbury Bowls. Truly delicious. A godsend in exurbia.

I cried the earth for a good Ramen place near where I live. I finally found it. The food is incredibly fresh and the rams were from this world. If you like ramen (and Japanese food) and have not tried this place yet, do yourself a service! The only cave is that it is a small place so that seats can fill quickly.

Never disappointed. This is easily the best food I have had in Westchester. As a matter of fact, some of the best meals I have ever had have come out of the Yami-Ichi kitchen. I honestly feel fortunate to have such amazing food close to home

Fantastic experience here. Service is great, sushi is delicious and plenty of vegan options too. Will be coming back again!
