We had lunch at this restaurant in June 2017 and when we visited Muenster ten years earlier. On both occasions we stumbled the restaurant by accident while looking for exhibit sites for the city's Sculpture Project exhibition. On both occasions we considered it is unexpected but pleasing find. It's located on the city's lake (Aasee) and has a pleasing, serene view of the lake. The restaurant was surprisingly empty but service was attentive and competent. Food was well prepared (in a modern German style) and fairly priced. The restaurant was quiet and the atmosphere peaceful. I didn't see any public parking lots nearby (although I may have missed it if there was one). We parked on the street...

A restaurant with a conservatory and a view of the lake. A 'typical' German restaurant... Fairly priced, good size portions and good service. Food was slightly salty but I have found that commonplace when eating in Germany

Excellent food, wine and service in this lovely restaurant overlooking the Aasee. They served over one hundred lunches, buffet style to our extended group last week and some of our Munster hosts ate with us. Delicious!

Very pleasant café in the Aasee in Münster. The staff is top-class. The cake (apple cake) delicious and fresh. I'd like to come back if I make my round around the aasee.
