"An unplanned lunch (although would recommend booking post lockdown. We have missed this place so much and taken their lovely Carvery for granted in the past so thought it deserved a review! Special thanks to Nick for his service, nothing was too much trouble, compliments to the chef and well done to the manager for the safety measures taken to enable a safe reopening. "Don't eat takeaway too often but when I do and I want a Chinese, this is my go-to place. The food is always tasty and what I expect, not much more I can say about it. Staff are friendly and efficient, prices are reasonable and the Dandy **** next door is great for a pint on the way to collect."

"I have always loved this restaurant. The butternut and chickpea burger is fantastic and always served hot and fresh. It is also my parents' favorite place for a casual meal. Unfortunately, during our last visit, they were only serving carvery, so I couldn't have my usual burger. However, I completely understand the situation and appreciate the staff's efforts to accommodate everyone. Some people are too quick to judge and lack empathy towards workers facing challenges. I just want to commend them for their hard work and look forward to returning soon to try their Beyond Burger."
