"While my husband was in Reha, I also enjoyed a short break at the Wellness Hotel Vital in Bad Lippspringe with the connected Westphalia-Therme. I had noticed a complete offer, with four nights including breakfast, 3 x in the evening a three-course and once a four-course menu and other “kings”. Free use of the spa is also included, which can be visited directly from the hotel's bathrobe. A great offer! The hotel is quiet and right in front of the city centre in a small sports area on the edge of the forest. The room also convinced with its amenities and cleanliness. I also liked the extensive breakfast offer with diverse and high-quality products, where no wishes remain open. The palm restaurant makes a very good impression and is not only open for domestic guests (wet kitchen from 12 am to 12 pm). There is also a bright conservatory where the tables are slightly narrow, which is not everywhere in the main restaurant. Two and four tables with harmoniously matched fabric blankets and table runners as well as silver candlesticks, fresh flower, salt shakers and pepper shakers determine the image, a warm, pleasant atmosphere. The entire table design harmonises with the colour design of the restaurant. The standard menu shows a wide selection of local and Mediterranean dishes as well as two offers for vegetarians and vegans. The prices for the main dishes are on average €17.00. I had chosen a table at the window wall of the restaurant, because from here you have a direct view of the ride in the spa and the plates of the visitors of the Bistros. In the four nights I felt very good at the restaurant. No matter who took care of me from the restaurant service, everyone was very friendly, competent and friendly and always had an eye on whether the guest still had a wish. Reorder/change, e.g. in the supplements, were no problem at all. The waiting times between the corridors were interrogated every time what I felt very comfortable. The tables were good, but not overloaded, the menu first found my great interest. As a main dish you can always choose between a meat or fish dish, with a fresh salad of salad buffet. And I drank 0.4 Pils at 4.00 €, always well cooled and well tapped. Since I don't want to write a novel and encourage readers, I make the menus together. An example of a menu: The four different soups: pumpkin cream soup with orange and cashew seeds Italian Minestrone Pfifferlingcreme soup with ham strip chicken boillon with lobster and egg ink All four soups were very well guarded. On the first evening the soup was not hot enough for me, made a comment on the service woman for the next evening meal. Each soup had its own taste, the two cream soups were of precise consistency and spices, harmoniously costed, really good! Main dishes: roasted butterfish fillet on white wine sauce and leaf spinach potatoes Fried scampispies on ratatouille and rosemary spices, sprinkled “Zuricher Art” of pork fillet on butter parrots, semi-baked duck “asian”, teriyakisauce and ginger rice The dishes offered had a very good level, were lovingly prepared and consistently had a high quality in terms of the ingredients. Whether fish or meat, everything was cooked to the point, I had nothing to smell, I just enjoyed. To all dishes, I could arrange a salad at the very well maintained buffet even from a very diverse selection, all fresh and crisp, with daily changing delicious sauces. An example of my salad plate: The desserts: Buttermilk Sorbet with Amaretto mousse and Waldbier compact Grained pineapple with Walnusseis mousse au chocolate with caramel sauce Stracciatella ice cream, each dessert was a pleasure! Crempy, taste-intensive ice cream, an even more creamy mousse scattered on the tongue, all attractively dressed in small edible chocolate dishes, overall good compositions. Conclusion: I like to come back! The visit to the Landesgartenschau has been opened for a few days."
