""la forchetta" (the fork) is the fifth Italian restaurant in breisach, which opened a little more than a year ago in the former Bavarian court. The owner is aref merza, who runs at an angle to the hoisthouse humpen.Because you can sit on the front side in the pedestrian zone in the open, no parking possibility would be close to it if there were not a courtyard on the back side, where you can park for free (travel via Richard-Müller-Straße!). a big plus!The restaurant interior is not typical Italian, but breathes the charm of the old Bavarian farm. the chef however and the friendly service are Italian.The menu has four antipasti: the prices vary between 4.90 € (bruschetta) and 11.90 € (carpaccio vom Lachs).Suppen is available for 4.90 € and 5.90 € (Minestrone).The barley dishes start at 7.50 € (e.g. pasta aglio e olio e peperoni). spaghetti. penne, gnocchi, taglioni, risotto, lasagne and ravioli cost between 7.50 € and 12.50 €. for every noodle dish is served a side salad.Fleish dishes are available from 9,50 € (putenschnitzel with pommes and salat) up to 22,50 € (rinderfilet with green pfeffer, croquettes and salad).A mixed fish plate with grilled vegetables and salat costs 22,50 €. Grilled salmon, dorade and hardy €50 they are offered for 5,50 € to 6,90 € instead of pizzas. Of course, the desserts are not allowed to be tiramisu (5,90 €) and panna cotta (5,90 €). the wee are from the imperial chair and from Italy.After a walk in the imperial chair led us (my wife, two well-known and me) the way to the "la forchetta". the drinks were quickly served by the friendly service. my wife ordered a lasagne (8,50 €), my colleagues spaghetti bolognese (7,50 €) or spaghetti with mussels (12,50 €) and I spaghetti aglio e olio (7,50 €). unfortunately, the cozze (small clams) were served with dishes. I didn't like it at all. the pasta dishes tasted neatly, but were also not revealing. my garlic spaghetti float in a large olive oil lake. they were al dente and picantly spiced. grated parmesan was handed over by the service on request. the supplement salads served in front of the main dish were unfortunately made with a yogurt-based finishdressing. Here one misses the good old Italian tradition to put a manage with olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper on the table so that one can prepare his vinaigraitte himself.While the foods are comparatively cheap, the wee prices of my guess are too high. 1/4 liter simple valpolicella cost 5,40 €, a quarter late Pinot € 4,60. in an Italian restaurant espresso awaits you with creamma - hot served. unfortunately the espressi were lukewarm because the tassen had not been preheated, the crema was missing, the taste was fade. not recommended!Quite: in the "la forchetta" you are served friendly and fast. the quality of the food corresponds to the favorable trips, the wee are too expensive. because the Italian competition is large in the area, it is only possible to recommend to the owner to eliminate the mängel mentioned. a large plus point of the "la forchetta" is the outside terrace from which you have a magnificent view of the breisacher münster."
