"The campsite Schüttehof is located far above the picturesque town of Horb and the Neckartal, in the middle of a lovely landscape. In the immediate vicinity you can also find: the local Petanque Club, tennis courts, a colping house, walks, a forest playground and parking. Seen this way, the restaurant Schüttehof should always have enough supply! The restaurant is located right next to the beautifully renovated and renovated, moreover quite generously designed toilets, showers and rental bathrooms of the complex. The restaurant's dining room is rather simple: dark clinker tiles, simple tables and chairs made of light wood. In good weather you should sit outside, under shady trees and near an artificial pond. Here you can not only observe the rainy bird world. Some tables are also located under the precarious roofing of the main house and are therefore reasonably protected even in rainy weather. The smokers and dog owners can also sit outside. Still relatively new in office is the current couple Gabriele and Luigi Tamburino, who lead the restaurant with cordiality and deed. Less on Trab, however, seemed to me during yesterday's visit to be the two male servicemen who made a scattered, tricky and slightly confused impression. Their use was almost slapstick. On the menu clearly dominate the pizza. But also frying, carving and hearty vasper are ordered. The portions are impressively huge and very inexpensive for their size. Our acidified Romadur was garnished with lots of fresh onion slices and was served with two slices of bread. Although he would have done a little more seasoning, a little more salt and pepper, the vasper was rich, saturating and a bargain for lush 5,90 euros. Also very lush are the cheese parrots that were apparently homemade. They were also completely covered with onions, but with the crunchy roasted (or even fried? variant. Here, too, the favorable price of 7.90 Euros was impressive, with a supplemental salad included, but it was more likely to kill us. It lacked its own taste and quality of ingredients, for which the kitchen had not saved with cream dressing. All in all, this court proved difficult to digest and gave us a restless night. The alcohol-free Alpirsbach wheat was fresh and spicy (also cheap: 2.80 euros), at the generously gifted wine choir (2.50 euros for a real quarter were still clear nutmeg notes and a fruity undertone to taste. Unfortunately, I missed out on what wine this Schorle was mixed with. The drinks ordered were served quickly, reliably and in matching glasses. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, but open on the other days from 10:00 to 22:00. With these long opening hours it goes without saying that during the afternoon the kitchen has to take a break. It is still regrettable, because just near a campsite and various leisure facilities there is a clear need for warm and cold food in the afternoon. But here you can get some coffee and cake. The coffee is served in very soft and very thick-walled cups and has a wonderful crema. He tasted great to me and the price of 2.20 euros is more than okay. Whether you can call the place completely barrier-free, I don't want to say it's flattering, but I have seen some guests with roller shutters and walking aids. Despite the proximity of the campsite, adequate leisure clothing is recommended. Children and dogs are welcome. And this destination is ideal for a small trip."
