"Conclusion (for silly readers in front) If you offer such a lunch table, at so humane times (11.00 17.00), you can definitely recommend it for the evening. Location and directions The restaurant is very conveniently located on the connecting road to Reichenbach Fils and is easy to find. Free parking is provided on the Lidl car park. The S Plochingen Train Station is also nearby (5 minutes walk). The Waldhorn passed over to the Plochinger Gastronomenfamilie Staiger (Stammsitz Gasthof Bären) in 1997 and was renamed to Staiger 's Waldhorn. Today it is a company of Staiger Gastronomie GmbH. If you want to learn more about this, I recommend studying the very well-established, informative homepage. Motivation I must admit that I haven't visited the Waldhorn since the Staiger era. As a result of a report in our Official Journal, the Staiger group has taken over the quadrium in Wernau and will continue to follow this after a complete general renovation. Highest time to see what the kitchen offers. The restaurant has a well-designed menu of 8 pages in the leather cover. Among other things: 8 appetizers 8 mullet dishes (each swab goes the heart) 8 dishes of the region 9 classics of the forest horn 5 vegetarian dishes 2 fish dishes One side local history, one page listing of suppliers, vasper and beverage cards. In addition, there is a weekly card with 2 daily changing dishes (this applies until 17:00) welcome service I was very kindly received by the service. She gave me a free hand in the choice of places (besides me only 5 other guests were present). You gave me the card and asked for the drinks. She understands that I wanted to pick up my food. Service In fulfilling my wish for a Schorle from a Grantian Riesling, she did not make a problem. She served the drink she ordered. Shortly afterwards the soup came, after another pleasant waiting period the main dish. The food used to be vegetarian. So I ordered the daily dish no. 1: Vegetable soup herbal flakes with wokg vegetables and orange pepper hollandaise baked 5.50 € The vegetable broth of seasoned vegetables was very well tasted with clear broccoli cauliflower flavor (no pastries soup). A successful opener. Instead of as expected 1 herb leaves were 2 on the plate. A good eater could also be fed with it, for me it was just too much, a pity. The pancakes (sweet) were very thin and golden yellow baked. The filling (wokg vegetables) was unfortunately not stirred (as I like) but only gedified. It consisted essentially of sugar chops, carrots, beans tomatoes and rag. The racer was the golden yellow orange pepper hollandaise with green pepper, which made the whole very appetizing. My Grantschener Riesling Schorle was awarded 3,30 € I left the restaurant and am now looking forward to the continuation in Wernau. The first look at the entrance to the restaurant falls on the splendor of medium-brown wood. Walls and ceilings in the seating area are lined with the same wood. Here a little bit of alpine land was imported into the Neckartal, for me no longer quite timely. With a slightly bright color, a fixed painter could easily brighten up the wooden shutters without destroying the wood character and making the space so much more friendly. This would also neutralize the effect of the very dark ceramic floor. A true eye-catcher is the historic potting plant (deco) in the middle of the room. She just didn't let me go. However, go a bit in the many wood. The restaurant is equipped with defensive wood furniture. Their balancing could be safely alleviated when using bright tablecloths instead of dark red caros. Decoration and the rest is in itself harmonious, although not necessarily my taste. The tables are covered with knives and fork, spoon comes with soup. The traditional salt and pepper shakers were a thorn in my eye. In order to save my honour, I would like to note that large pepper mills are also available, which are served on request. Toilets A huge hall awaits you when entering the facility in a high standard. Functional, clean, practical, good. What I miss in a house of this genre are the small hygienic cosmetic attentions that are standard in other houses of this genre. Cleanliness What I saw made everything a well-kept impression."

"Location, Directions, Parking Staiger 's Bear is located at the beginning of the pedestrian zone opposite the Hundertwasserhaus. Easy to find with the car. There are about 5 private parking spaces in front of the house, on the opposite side of the street the paid underground parking in the Hundertwasserhaus. Due to the central location you can easily reach from the S-Bahn station. History The bear is probably the oldest in Plochingen. He's been there since 1835. It is the headquarters of the Staiger Gastronome family (see also Staiger 's Waldhorn . However, according to the interrogation, it is supposed to encircle in the valley of the family GmbH. Service Because the noise level in the exterior was too high, I moved into the interior. There I was kindly greeted by a young lady. Flink brought you to me the menu and drink, as well as the tabletop with the daily dinner, called weekly bangs. She let me see all the time alone, then picked up the order, served quickly my ordered acidic cyclist (generally known under Russ . After a pleasant waiting period she served the main dish. She repeatedly asked if everything was fine and if I had any wishes. I was, like, a dessert. She explained to me the sweets offered. After a short waiting period, she served the ordered Baileyseispraline. She had explained this with such a radiant smile that I was firmly convinced that this would also be her choice. With the bill she brought me an unrequested business card of the house. She earned the 4th star. The menu and drink menu are very elegant, dark blue leather cover with family coats. The content is cleanly stitched. The sorting of the dishes offered is not always quite conclusive (fish and vegetarian dishes can be found at the same time on different sides and headings, i.e. you always have to read everything. On the last page there is a flat-rate reference to 12 additives which may be contained in the basic products used. Since the numbers are not indicated in the courts, allergists should be killed. What have I eaten Because the table top week banger was very imposing to me, I decided for the pork-shaxen slices with napkin dumplings in beer-senf sauce €7.20 (have changed the description consciously because this comes closer to the appearance. The haxen probably came from a dwarf race, two small slices, one of which was partly dried on the edges. The meat almost tasted like Garnichts. Can't remember ever having eaten such fades haxen meat. The dark brown sauce (beauty makes no black beer to my knowledge was only edgy. From beer and mustard there was nothing to taste (that mustard was in it I realized in the luxuriant mustard. The crowning was the fried slices from the napkin dumpling. They were so strongly compressed that they did not make any institutions to absorb the sauce. There was nothing about the fluffy consistency I met in the Salzburger Land, but there was nothing at all (seufz . To neutralize the comrade I decided to make a dessert. House-made Baileyseispraline on fruit ragout 4.70 € The ice praline, a quad of about 2 x 2 x 5 cm, tasted very interesting. The ice was not oversugared and so one could well perceive the delicate Bailey's taste. However, the price for this is not a cardboard stem. Prayered she was on about 2 tablespoons of fresh, stoned, dark cherries, which unfortunately only tasted red and damp. Also tasteless were the acorns of kernelless grapes decorated for this purpose (regional product? What the Physalis had to look for here remained a mystery to me. Tastefully, she didn't fit at all. Why are you getting so slammed at lunch? It is also different (see Cervus Plochingen, who comes at his expense! The ambience outdoor area In front of the house is a small garden economy, shaded by a huge grief. Because of the traffic noise on the nearby passageway, I couldn't get any charm, even though I'm a free-air trailer. The exit to the bear cellar could once again carry fresh color. Parking and street façade do not look inviting. The place as such is entered via a very narrow, small wind catch. Not exactly skillful for disabled people. Those who love the equipment of the 1950s gems feel comfortable here. Unfortunately, the wood trims still adhere to a small residue of the scent of former smokers' locals. As a non-smoker, this is particularly true. After all, the room was taken from its pressing atmosphere by a bright ceramic floor. The cover of the tables with bright blankets in cream tones does a rest. Negative for me again the standard salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The toilets are located in the basement (also not barrier-free). The system meets good standard and makes a well maintained impression. Gradually become a caller in the desert. Here, too, no one thinks of the lovable hygienic cosmetic amenities. The scent of old cellars spreads out in the entrance and the staircase. You could get that under control. Cleanliness The guest rooms and toilets make a well maintained impression."

"Today I landed on the occasion of the visit to the Marquard Festival of the Plochinger Associations in Asia Wok, because the food offers of the festivals did not attract me, with the exception of the steak in the breadth of the ski club, which I tried yesterday. The rest of the offer just shocked me because qualitatively at the lower limit, despite overprices. In the opening hours, care is required for different information. Lt. HP 11:00-21:00 h, lt. Menu 11:00-22:00 h, lt Note on the entrance door 11:00-22:30 h. Entered the latter. Ambiente (2.5 : The restaurant is located next to the picturesque Plochinger Hundertwasserhaus. The device corresponds to that of a high-speed restaurant, simple, practical, easy to maintain. Don't spend a longer stay. Service (3,5 : Nice, friendly service hardly asks that you sit after the drink request (which I don't like so much). The main dish is served before you spoon out the soup. I'm sure you're enjoyable for fast food, but I don't belong to it. The food (3,0 : Before I ordered a wanted soup (4,00 €). As a main dish I ordered Ped (13,00 € , a Thai duck dish in coconut milk and special Thai curry mix, very pikant, tasted well with the basmati rice, unfortunately but with ingredient 3 flavor enhancers. Therefore only 3 points. A Maltese white beer (3,50 € wounded well. For cleanliness, I can only say what I saw was neat."

"We were there about 4 years ago. At that time we had not liked it, neither the ambience nor the food told us. But you should give everything a second chance. So another visit at the end of July 2019. What disturbed us: The price performance ratio is anything but balanced. At an average price of €14 per main dish (children's dishes for €10! and the glass of wine from €5 you expect significantly more than just average . But this average is unfortunately only available in Albblick Plochingen. Long waiting times (a short hour on the main course. No exception are waiting times on the map (approximately 15 minutes. A man at the side table went to the vaults at some point and then took the menus themselves. The host family definitely has too little staff and has a stressful effect on reorders (I do not want to see this as a guest). The salad tastes even if you don't get oil and vinegar. But the main courts are good, but they're totally sweet. Both the meat and the rice are sweetly trapped on the plate there is no supplement to it (ok, the salad there was before, but a piece of tomato, a single salad leaf or a stalk of rosemary, just something for the eye, unfortunately nothing harm. The beverage glasses are touched at the upper edge of the glass when they are reordered (for this there are trays or you put them at the bottom of the glass stem and not where you put your mouth on. We then went to the counter for payment, because the operation was unfortunately not given despite multiple characters. All in all: Unfortunately, we were also disappointed in our second visit and will not dare a third start this time. Take your own picture. In my opinion, there are clearly better Greeks in the Esslinger room. PS: If someone knows a Greek who wants to open a good restaurant: BITTE COMMT BY PLOCHINGEN!"
