We came to La Tremblade over 20 years ago and wanted to see if it had changed. The restaurants have increased but the area has not changed at all, reminds me very much of Southwold in Suffolk, fishermens huts all lining the estuary. We ate here on a Thursday afternoon, the place was almost full but the waiter was great, helped with selection and the food was great, my husband especially enjoyed the mussels, for me it was the fish soup. Good, honest food in a rustic restaurant.
