A La Table Ronde - Reservar uma mesa

on Wednesday (market day) visited the city and during the roundabout decided to stay for lunch. I had the Viking jarret a huge shoulder of the ham with a whole cooked camembert, frit and an salat garnish with a beautiful apple wine. other half had moule and frit, again a great part. a carafe house wine ordered and enjoyed a very relaxing lunch. usually eat local, but also another englisg couple. the waitress speaks well English and also has a quirky sense for humor. amazing of some of the other negative comments when I saw before I post this. please don't let you go. all prices are clearly displayed.

my wife and I arrived in Villedieu-les-Poeles on a Sunday afternoon. when we explored the beautiful city, we noticed that caffes and restaurants close or just change to drinks. on a quiet side street we found a la table ronde, where only a few. still eat and the personal cleaned up. when we asked if we could order food, the server unfortunately said non, but the owner/manager said oui. my order of the moule fries and the hamsteak of my wife with salat and fries were welcomed simple dishes for two of us who had eaten their way through the normandie. the hostage has saved the day.

New to France, however my partner and I went out for a meal and a few drinks. Ate at a different restaurant then this......only called in for a drink. We ordered 2 pints of lager, asked for the bill which we never received and was...charged 14 euros!!!!! **** hell it was a joke and will never return. Other bars charged us around 10. We were clearly ripped off, so English please ask how much or just stay away

the outside seats were perfect. with shadow and a lot of space to sit. we had found ourselves in villidieu and we were looking for an authentic French lunch. we were served by the owner who has a nice feeling of humor and eating was very...available

Literally a tourist trap....and quite an obvious one...I am still wondering how the hell did I enter this restaurant...the waitress or owner was friendly though...
