A Merendella Citadina

This area of Ajaccio/Corsica feels like you could step into a tourist trap, so we were very careful picking a restaurant here and we were not dissappointed by Merendella Citadina! The gaspacho for starter was refreshing and for mains we had an unbelievably yummy pulled porc and Lasagnes de St-Pierre. We had the menu, so also a dessert... the pain perdu nucciolina tasted very good, too bad I couldn't finish it because it was just too much. Highly recommend this place, friendly service and fair price for great value

Magnificent discovery during our weekend in Ajaccio. In a small narrow street, a well-established terrace and a warm welcome. From the starter to the dessert through the main courses, everything is homemade and in particular the chef's specialty, pasta with gritta: simply succulent. The chef came to greet us at the end of the meal. A big thank you to the entire A Merendella Citadina team. I highly recommend.

Namely the chef also has a counter in the halls of Ajaccio. Dishes to take away or eat on site. The mussels are great. Very warm welcome, quality cuisine at a very affordable price.
