Abacus Chinese Restaurant

Our group of 16 people visited the restaurant and placed our order at 7:30pm. Unfortunately, our food did not arrive until 9:30pm, despite other tables receiving their meals before us. The staff seemed disorganized and unsure of who ordered what, leading to a long wait time and confusion. There was not enough staff, with only one person handling table service and the drink waiters appeared unhappy. The food was average, but the restaurant itself was outdated and in need of refurbishment. The decor was dull and lacked pride, with a half-empty, dirty fish tank in front of the house. As our first time here we were excited yet comprehending the search for the menu. Decor was fine as my eyes looked around, you could not help notice dirty table linen dirty windows. We chose a special banquet, especially as it had a...fair selection for the price. Soup was nice, chicken wings spring rolls Bland, seafood in a bird kingdom was the highlight. Then catastrophe....A main came out and we were asked if we wanted the other main plus the fried rice right away.... of course we waited 20 minutes for them to arrive twice more to ask where they were before they got them. We quickly asked for our desert kinos tea before we leave. Overall no nice place to eat for the price.

The take-out meals are incredibly affordable and some of the best Singapore noodles I've ever had. The kids adore the lemon chicken and fried rice. I have been ordering delicious food from this restaurant for a decade and it has remained consistently outstanding.

Excellent family run Chinese restaurant. Very friendly service, clean and efficient. We have visited for many years and never had a bad experience. Owner Nicole is very welcoming and enjoys chatting when time permits. .

We ordered a Chinese meal that was very tasty, just as we expected. Despite the restaurant being very busy and there being few diners, it did not affect our experience at all.
