The entire place is run by one person. He preps, cooks, waiters and cleans all by himself. To maintain the quality of his food (and it is amazing) is a mammoth effort. Some people have complained about the dirty dishes and the long wait times. He has a few tables where he stacks all the dirty dishes on a table near the entrance that he does at the end of the night because he doesn't have enough time to do them during service. The wait times can be long so bring some good friends and prepare for a comfy night in but its because, once again, the entire, 50 seated restaurant is run by one person who does literally everything. Conveniently located with a huge carpark nearby, Acacia Japanese did not disappoint. The flavours of the Gyoza were the best I've tasted and the freshness of the sashimi was superb. The Bento box dinner was delicious and contained generous portions. A one man show waiter, chef and manager all in one I don't know how the owner keeps his cool! Great for an evening catch up with friends where there is no need to rush. Restaurant is spacious and well ventilated.

this restaurant is very nice, I would recommend it. they can say that the owner really cares about his customers and especially about the production of qualitatiw high quality food. we got the udon and the tempura vegetables, both were delicious and had a great deep of taste. I would recommend this udon as it has a good selection of components and taste delicious. the owner is also a very nice person. if you feel Japanese eating, give him a shot.

my family and I have dined last night in acacia, and I wanted to take a moment to praise the incredible eating and the service of the owner who was the only worker on the floor and has managed to serve both and cook meals for everyone in the restaurant. while there was a little waiting, he was at the beginning about it and it was at the end well worth it. a really nice evening.

acacia is an old favorite of ours, the owner is always warm and welcoming and eating is highest quality.
