Great local place for a bite of hot delicious Mexican fare. The chips are warm the salsa usually comes out with two or three varieties and you can get all or choose your favorite. We usually get the cheese dip as well. You can choose large or small. Small is good for 2-3 people. I usually go for the burrito and just tell them what I want. They have several pre-configured options but I just tell them the way I want it and it shows up. I have had the fajitas and they are excellent. My son gets the three taco special. We have no complaints about the food. It's hot and savory American Mexican food. Service is usually excellent. Lots of refills on drinks and chips. The food comes out pretty quick...

Very mediocre. We came for lunch on a Friday, the wait after ordering was unnecessarily long for what was ordered. The lunch fajitas came on a regular plate not even with steam. Rice cold. Beans cold. Corn tortillas raw. And tamale wasn’t served in the corn husk. Service was slow.

Can I say that I am super picky and this is our favorite spot. Everything I try I like. Food is always fresh and the place is always clean. The margaritas are also very good. We’ve been coming here for years. This is a food destination if your coming to Athens.

eating was amazingly good. service excellent. chips and salsa came to our meal times. we were surprised how undisturbed the place was at midday and everyone who was there was evenly extended. would definitely recommend this place for lunch.

Food was great! Server was really sweet and kind. The only issue is the meat in one of the tacos I ate was not seasoned. It was very bland, salt and pepper did the trick, but don’t be surprised.
