23/8: Last night we had the great opportunity to finally experience the 3 'AKELARE ' restaurant. We made our reservation almost 6 months ago and we were very much looking forward as this was going to be one of our culinary highlights of the year. We went for the full experience and chose both menus; 'ARANORI ' and 'BEKARKI ', both with wine pairing. As we prefer to enjoy the art of fine dining together as a couple, this allowed us to interchange the dishes for an even broader sensory experience. You will have a wonderful time at Akelare. The views are incredible, the service is amazing and the food is very good. I've been to a lot of three michelin star restaurants, and the amuse-bouches and desserts here are among the best I've had. However, the dishes in between are nice but unspectacular. Nothing wowed me in the way other restaurants have. Five star nonetheless, as it is a lovely experience.

Beautiful, attentive, calm.. A place that you have to try, I was not a fan of these places but I was amazed, Of all the tasting dishes, there was only 1 that I did not like, the rest was all great, detailed presentation , explanations a 10, treatment a 10, exceed my expectations. It was good but it did not meet the expectations... at all. Not sure why this place has 3 Michelin stars? We honestly were missing something more extraordinary and/or creative for the price of the menu... Not worth it. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
