AKLA ante Intercontinental Lisbon

This is a hidden gem. Foodies are usually right in avoiding hotel restaurants, but don’t miss this one. Quiet, intimate, with outstanding food and service. Manager Pedro Santos is top notch. He loves his job. You will be treated like family and every detail is covered. Service by Ana was impeccable. We shared an order of sea bream ceviche. Outstanding! Then we each had the signature salad. All the vegetables cooked to perfection. Baby beats, onions, sweet potatoes with perfect balance of crunch and tender. So good. Entree was the Azore Tuna. Tender, moist, delicious. Tremendous meal. You will not be disappointed.

We had just flown in and didn’t feel like venturing outside of the hotel so decided to try this restaurant at the Intercontinental. What a pleasant surprise! Service was friendly, attentive, informative. The food was so outstanding that we asked for the recipe of their green beans (green peas) with cashews. The octopus was superb and my fish was quite tasty. They pampered us by helping us select good wines. I am used to eating bad food at hotel restaurants but this one was definitely one I will go back to when in Lisbon. Thanks to the wonderful staff for the great job.

I had just arrived and was waiting for my room to be called ready so I left my luggage with the Porter and went to the restaurant to see about spending some time with a bottle of wine and some food. I went ahead and order the regular fair of the day which included a soup, a main plate, and a dessert I was terribly unsatisfied with all three is super Ryan fluke worm no flavor pea green soup, which has a lot of potential I just wanna was flat. The salad was barely edible just no imagination to the flavorings at all

We loved everything about this restaurant. First of all, the service is great! Pedro was so professional and caring, he recommended us the best food and also gave traditional gifts. We’ve tried octopus, cod, tuna, seabass everything was so fresh! Definitely the best experience in Lisbon! Reserve uma mesa agora

We usually don't dine in hotel restaurants, but we were pleased that we did this time. The service was outstanding - polite yet friendly, with great food suggestions. The food was amazing, especially the grilled octopus tentacle that was so tender it practically melted in your mouth.

Loved everything about this restaurant, the localisation, the staff and most definitely their crème brûlée which is the best I've eaten so far, the homemade cinnamon ice cream on top was delicious and I couldn't recommend it enough, will definitely come back when I'm back in Lisbon!

Stayed at the hotel and glad that we were able to enjoy a nice dinner. Nice ambiance, great service! The dishes were delicious. Cod was fresh and liked the veggies too. Lamb was flavorful . Especial enjoyed the desert with wasabi ice cream.
