Al-bader - Reservar mesa

I made a reservation at this restaurant after reading a positive review, but I was very disappointed with my experience. We ordered drinks first, but they arrived after our main meals, even though we had already finished our starters. Other customers who came in after us received their drinks much quicker, despite our order being simple: 3 teas and a Pepsi. The starters were delicious, but the mains were very disappointing. Two of us ordered the chicken with mushroom sauce, one with fries and the other with rice. The sauce tasted like Campbell's creamy mushroom soup and the dish looked unappetizing with no salad garnish. The main waiter was surly and inattentive, and the toilets were awful....

There are great options for everyone at this restaurant - whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a meat eater. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly, and it's a fantastic place to take a break while exploring different parts of the city. We ordered the vegan platter with hummus, moutabal, falafel, stuffed vine leaves, and more, along with some extra sides of stuffed baby aubergine and fatoush. We also enjoyed mint tea, which was fantastic! The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. If we lived closer, we would eat here every week. Even though it's a 2-hour journey, we may just have to make the trip once a month to enjoy this amazing food.

We decided to order takeout to avoid cooking, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. We ordered the £6.50 Prawn dish, which only had six small and extremely salty prawns. It seemed like the only sauce used was peri peri sauce from Nando's. The Mixed Grill we ordered was lacking in rice and chips, and the lamb skewer was also overly salty. We paid a total of £38.90 for very little food and ended up making our own meal at home. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again and wish we had chosen a different place to avoid having to cook afterwards.

The food was REALLY bland, hardly any salt nor could you taste the apparent Moroccan spices. Food was very expensive for such poor quality. The atmosphere was so quiet and awkward it was really depressing. You would of thought it was going to be busy on a friday night but it was ghost town! The food from here is really nice and has that homemade feel to it. The chicken hummus and moussaka are lovely but the prawn and squid dishes are made with the same generic sauce and did not taste good. Would definitely order again but get to know your staple dishes and stick to them when ordering I would say.

Ordered for a delivery. Driver must have got lost as food arrived just luke warm and late. It was well cooked but very bland, not what was expected. No spice tasted in the meal, should have gone to the local chip shop.

Never actually been for a sit down meal inside due to Covid but we had takeaway and it is absolutely delicious! Real value for money, enormous portion sizes and freshly cooked. Simply amazing

Tagine was bland and tasteless with 1 slice of carrot and half a potato. Looked awful and tasted awful. Rang and complained and no apology or refund. £11.90 Reserve uma mesa agora

Ordered via just eat. Great food, delivered promptly. One of my favourite restaurants; great to eat in or get takeaway.
