Ordered a lamb gyro pita wrap and it was so flavorful! Very filling and satisfying. The price was right and the portions were good too for what was paid for. The place was smaller on the inside than I imagined, but it has a kind of charm to it. I really liked the National Geographic magazine wall covers! The man who took our order and prepared it was nice and straightforward. : The only thing that bothered me was there was an obnoxious man sitting with his own company off in the corner. They did not offend us personally, I just found them annoying and my husband did not want to listen to them while eating. If they were not there we would have stayed and ate our meal, but this does not affect...

This is a local jewel in Savannah. It's a cozy little spot in the city and I saw a steady stream of customers coming and going the short time I was there. I am vegan and ordered a falafel wrap combo with the fries and drink to go. I had asked if the falafel was vegan and they said yes. Initially they asked if I wanted hummus in it and I said yes. Well I got a couple blocks away, took a bite and there was a dairy sauce in it instead of the hummus. I called them right away and they assured me they would make it right which they did. It was ready for me when I went back in. Absolutely delicious wrap and the fries were the krinkle kind salted just right. You gotta go!

I've been coming to Al Salaam for over a decade. This place has the perfect charm that defines Savannah GA. Customer service is always amazing and fast. I've never eaten anything from this menu that was bad. It is the standard to which I define Gyros. Fries are always perfectly salted and crisp. Gyro is always fresh and perfectly seasoned. Keep the good work, boys. Loyal customer here and will always be. You're a Savannah Institute.

I ordered the gyro with fries and a soda. I really enjoyed the gyro, the lamb was cooked perfect and seasoned very well. The fries were crispy and crunchy, I ate most of them and I'm not a big french fry type of guy. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to get a good gyro in the 912 area.

Consistent, delicious. Every single time I go here, it's always the same, the owner is super nice, very humble. The food is always amazing. And you know what to expect. One of my top 5 places on Savannah hands down
