Alexander's Steakhouse Pasadena

We’ve been coming here for years and I think last night will be the last time. The bread had been sitting and was stale (the bread basket is my wife’s favorite part), the oysters weren’t fresh and glass was shattered on one of the hamachi shots. (Things happen and we didn’t really care but attention to detail is lacking) The staff is great but the restaurant was dead and the quality has gone down. The Japanese wagyu steak was great. The scallops were good. The stone crab salad was ok. The cotton candy was great. We really liked Alexander’s but we don’t think it’s going to stay open much longer the way it’s going.

We had the chef's tasting and every course was delicious. The desserts are amazing and the drinks are just as yummy. Lots of cocktails to choose from. I highly recommend.

Our server Stephen and team were welcoming, accommodating and gave excellent service. Our family had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed the quality Alexander’s had to offer!
