Alex's Place - Reservar uma mesa

I visited Alex's Place twice in July and twice in October 2017. After my experiences there, this is most definitely my go to place for food when I stop in Batavia. I stop in there at about 3:30 to 4:30 for an early dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I sat at a table for two against the wall, which was fine. The way the tables are arranged and the lighting makes it feel like you are sitting in an exclusive spot and not in the middle of a trafficky well lit restaurant. Call that atmosphere. We made a special trip out from the Buffalo area to hit up Alex's Place. We have never had a bad meal here and our last trip proved no different. From the moment you arrive, the wonder smells hit your nose. The exterior is a bit dated, but we were there for the food. We were greeted and seated promptly. We were bummed they don't have the popcorn anymore, which was always a nice treat. Our server was exceptional and that is hard to find these days. Always smiling, pleasant, helpful and prompt. A special shout out to Christine A. She made great recommendations and made our visit more special. Probably one of the nicest people we have ever met in the service industry. She sets the standard. The food was delicious, had steak, potato and salad with fresh bread....ALL very delicious. Our waitress, Rose, was very friendly and helpful during the meal. But I can't say the same for the hostess who sat us and some other waitresses. Remember ladies, you work on tips and I tap on service I received not only because it is the right thing to do. But I gave 5 because of the server. Thank you, Rose!

I have visited West New York for the last 20 years at least once. We discovered Alex's Place in 1996-97 and it has become our meeting place for dinner or lunch when we visit Batavia. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have tried a few of their different offers, but I will probably order the baby back ribs! Prices are also quite reasonable, especially given the quality of food.
