Alte Schmiede - Reservar uma mesa

Restaurant Alte Schmiede was suggested to us by the owners of the gasthaus where we were staying. It was a pleasant walk in to the town centre where we found Alte Schmiede in a lovely square next to the church surrounded by numerous other restaurants...and if I had checked out tripadvisor first I would probably not have eaten here. The food itself isn't bad what really lets down this place is the service; it's poor to say the least. Some tables appeared to get more attention than others (I won't go so far as to say "racist" but the 2 Dutch tables and 1 British table seemed to have more than the fair share of issues), peoples drinks were missed, a whole meal forgotten, very hard to attract at...

I was with 6 people for dinner, we ordered olives, bread which never arrived. Dinner arrived so we just started on it only one of us thought the food was ok (chicken and chips). The olives etc was not on the bill. The service was awful staff unfriendly and not very helpful. I would not recommend this at all.

Pedí Schnitzel (carne de cerdo empanada) y estaba tan mala que no me la pude comer. El servicio tampoco me gustó. No recomiendo este restaurante

Tot twee keer toe werden we onvriendelijk behandeld.Omdat het eten er smakelijk uit zag wilde we het een tweede kans geven.....

Spiste en helt grei og enkel middag her. Grei service. De kunne nok ha solgt mer om de hadde vært litt for seg.
