Alter Gasthof Boxdorf

Nicely furnished guest house with large adjoining rooms. The food is not very delicious, but still okay. It lacks wort and for quality it is too expensive. If I only pay 20€ for a dish like carving and pay 5€ for a small supplement salad with finish dressing I expect more. Pigs very delicate, but the mushrooms were completely boiled, only pampering, with the croquettes you can do nothing wrong. Sauerbread was called tasty. Matjes with roast potatoes over 16€ is also too much for a guest house. No, I wouldn't go back there.

In many inns with “good bourgeois cuisine” disappointment is usually pre-programmed, we were taught a better one here. In the green beer garden we could eat typical East/DDR dishes. Homemade Soljanka and pork neck baked with paws and cheese. Above for East/Dorf relations, apparently the host pays his employees properly. That's it. As the only criticism I've made this beer that wasn't served well enough.

Excellent restaurant, good reception, good service and good advice. Very good value for money, a beautiful small regional product card. The best restaurant in Moritzburg where we have been for 4 days

Hello we were eating with them yesterday and I must say ambience as well as that it was really great their inn is highly recommended and I will do that too....

We have eaten almost every evening at the restaurant, was always good and plentiful and if we are nearby, we will always go for dinner
