The Old Ferry House has a good location near the Rhine in Königswinter. It serves traditional German dishes and has a pleasant terrace. The Wienerschnitzel was excellent and can be recommended. In our party of 7 we had a good selection of dishes and most of us were satisfied with our choice. The service was pretty good without being excellent. A good choice for a relatively simple lunch or dinner.

Popped into this very pleasant balcony type establishment whilst staying at the hotel next door. Our table overlooked the Rhine during a lovely balmy evening. Although we only had drinks it was a pleasurable experience and would recommend it over the pubs in the town centre which all seem to overlook a pedestrian area.

I was there a few times and absolutely love it! It is about 1 level above the road so you don't get much noise from the road. The food and wine is really good and the price is decent. Unfortunately, the waitress is sometimes a little hard. Very recommended!

Was great, typical traditional German cuisine, beautiful house style place. Beautiful surroundings under the tree, on the water. Look forward to return

A firm place with German courts, the biggest attraction is that it is open during the day. It no longer serves as a kind of beer, it is a wine place.
