Amani Bar and Kitchen

We went to Amani last weekend with a few friends. It was a terrible experience and would not recommend this place. The place is narrow and small so when it is busy it gets very difficult to move and you get pushed. We are older...and wanted to sit and enjoy the night which was impossible. The staff were very rude, in particular the main lady was very dismissive. They started asking people to leave the bar at 12.30am (although they advertise themselves as a late night bar and started turning on the lights, packing furniture away and the music turned off before 1am. In general it made us feel very uncomfortable and ruined our night.

We had a friends 50th birthday after dinner drinks at Amani on a Friday and must say this place is really nice and cosy. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had a live DJ and that they play 80's and 90's on Friday...and Saturday evenings. The bar staff are very friendly and switched on and very prompt in their service despite being busy. My partner and I were planning to have one drink and leave by 10.00 pm but the music and atmosphere was so amazing that we danced on till 2:00 am!!!!had a fantastic evening and will definitely be going back.

A casual dining experience. We were there in a quiet Thursday eve for dinner. Small plate tapas- but don’t be deceived, the dishes are pretty large for a tapas! The 4 of us could not fault any of the dishes from the huge $32...‘grazing plate’ to the pork belly tacos, gnocchi, the duck the chicken sliders. All had the Armani’s own twist to them. Drinks were reasonably priced. A very pleasant evening

Love this place great atmosphere and music for a nightcap, cocktails were nice and age range varied. Not sure if I would eat there but it's a super cute bar

This drink was delish, highly recommend. Great little bar for xmas drinks and tapas style food. Lovely service too
