Amy's Cafe - Reservar uma mesa

Came to Amy's cafe today, because my first experience eating here was great! This second time around was not as good. The food was good, but kind of just felt like we were being served because we had to. I was told that they had no toppings to put on my pancakes, but later on I saw strawberries and whipped cream on other folks' plates. We had to get up and go to the hostess stand to ask for refills on our coffee after waiting for a refill for about 30 mins (we weren't even served water). We also had to get up after another 30 mins to ask the hostess for our check. The ambiance is nice, it's a cute spot, very charming. I will say though, they could get rid of the annoying bell at the entrance...

The crab dip appetizer special was to die for! Did not realize this gem was tucked away back where it was, quiet location, but the word's out plenty of folks when we walked in. We arrived at 6:30pm on a Tuesday, without realizing they closed at 8pm (sorry! service was super quick, food tasted excellent, nothing to complain about. I had the salmon main with two sides (sweet potato fries and green beans and it tasted amazing. Our table ate in silence that good. Would highly recommend; 4.5 stars rounded up.

We were driving by and we were hungry so we said what the heck, turned around and fooled around and had a excellent breakfast. Food is only half the experience, Betty our server was beyond excellent! I think she reads minds because she was Betty on the spot! As for the food it was great, cooked to perfection and had excellent flavor ! The portions were about right for the price. If you can't tell from my review I had a excellent experience! My hat is off to Betty for her excellent service!

Yum! We had fried catfish and fried green tomatoes. Delicious. The art on the walls was fun to look at!
