Anaba Japanese Cusine

I don't mean to be disrespectful to the owners/workers of this establishment, but the only good thing about our lunch was the price. It took awhile for us to be seated and the restaurant wasn't very busy. Our waitress wasn't attentive or interactive. She never refilled our drinks and I don't remember her checking on us once after our food was delivered. My chicken was dry and very salty. Out of the 2 pieces of broccoli I received, one was overcooked and one was raw. All of the fried items tasted like they were fried in old oil. The atmosphere is rather grungy and not very inviting. Each time I've been there recently, I haven't been allowed to sit on the nicer patio. I highly recommend the miso soup, which is incredibly delicious, along with the sashimi, sushi, or hibachi dishes. However, I'd advise against the salad and don't expect a clean, pleasant atmosphere. Attached is a photo of my most recent dinner, featuring a deconstructed spring roll (thank you for accommodating my allergy concerns!). My wife and I dined her for the first time last night. We were greeted we we entered and decided to sit at the sushi bar. Our waitress greeted us and was very friendly . The menu is quite large but easy to navigate. I was glad to see that they had Saba on the menu mackerel it 's one if my favorites and hard to find in knoxville. We ordered our sushi and a large warm saki. The service was very good and our sushi looked good and tasted even better! I was very happy with what I ordered including the Anaba roll! I would definitely recommend. We will be returning!

We took our daughter there for her Birthday this evening. She ordered a chicken teriyaki meal. Her meal came out under cooked. When she sent it back to have the chicken cooked more and folks your not going to believe thus) , the kitchen so called manager brought her plate back to the table refusing to cook the chicken more!!!! She actually said it's against their policy to burn meat!!!. Without doubt the most ridiculous thing to ever I mean ever happen to us in a restaurant.......WOW Reserve uma mesa agora

Unfortunately rating what was our favorite place to get japanese food 1 star because I was served green tea in an eel sauce and lipstick covered cup.... nasty... then when they brought out a replacement it was still sticky and I could scrape gunk off the outside. Sever was really nice about it and we've had great food there before but I don't want to go there again after that. Sad :

I'm basically hooked on the food at this restaurant. Their Yakisoba, Gyoza, and Edamame are my absolute favorites. My friends order a variety of sushi and noodles, and from what I've gathered, it can be a bit pricey for some dishes. However, my meal is always quite affordable. The servers and waitstaff are incredibly friendly as well. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
