Anita's Mexican Cantina

We ordered shrimp steak fajitas and the chef only out few shrimp even less then 6 for our plate .We informed the server .He went and talked to the chef but he didn’t make us more shrimp although he had not put enough for our dish .He said if you want you should order separate .So they don’t put enough protein in the dish and make customers order extra side .Their fajitas was mainly onions and peppers .Very disappointed to drive 30 miles to Oceanside for this Mexican restaurant with unreasonable chef.They don’t care about customer satisfaction about food .

Very friendly service . Nice comfortable indoors and outdoor areas . In the evening they have plenty of nice patio heaters to enjoy your meal . The chile colorado plate was very generous and very tasty ,The taco and the enchilada combo plate was also very tasty and generous portions . Nice atmosphere with Good Spanish Music . And have to say again .Great Friendly Service ! My pic of my plate unfortunately came out blurry. Sorry !

We are regulars on Taco Tuesdays. The wait is always worth it. Mango margaritas are on point. Ceviche tostadas are my favorite food there but the tacos are amazing. It does get loud and there's almost always a line at the bar on Tuesdays, but it's one of our favorite places to go in town.

We had to wait a few minutes for a table, so we decided to sit in front, but the cigarette smoke was disgusting blowing in the restaurant that should not be allowed. Way too loud, hard to have conversation. The hostess was rude, but our waitress was great. Reserve uma mesa agora

Absolutely amazing food and service. Very quick with service without sacrificing any quality! 10/10 recommend...especially for you Midwestern folks that haven't had good Mexican food. Hard shell tacos with the neighbor's ground beef doesn't count.

Great food and large portions. Very cool building inside with cool decor. Our server was not the best, but the chips lady was great! We would go back.
