A fab experience from start to finish. Lovely, spacious room with a sea view with complimentary bottle of wine and snacks. Lovely garden area with large pool to the rear of the hotel and a large terrace facing the sea for your apéro and amuse bouche. Service levels are second to none and the very large team appear to be happy at their work and share the passion of the area and the food instilled by Chef Mathieu Guibert. We were recommended to go to this restaurant which was supposedly the best in the region and with fantastic cuisine. We went for lunch on the 8th august, 2019 and were 6 people. The Reception was not great and while we were waiting for the table to be ready the men who offered us drinks were not specially kind. Then we went to the table and took the most expensive lunch menu, with wines pairing which put the menu at over 200Euros each as expensive as a 3 star Michelin restaurant in Paris). Our second visit today to this amazing restaurant, once again everything was perfect and as good as in our souvenir. The service is friendly, professional, and the magic view of the sea is definitely a plus. The Chef Matthieu Guibert is a real artist and knows how to create amazing food with all the local products, of course fish crustaceans come first in his menu. The desert chef is also amazing and brings even more happiness to the perfect meal. The young and passionate sommelier is a perfect match wit Matthieu Guibert's work. All the sanitary measures against the Covid 19 are strictly enforce, so you feel safe and secure.
Used the Gourmet Passport to have the 155 euro signature menu. I have eating in this restaurant for year. It was a bib gourmand, a one star and a two star. This year the menu was better than ever. I am looking forward to another great experience next year. The sommelier is the best.
