Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen

Today, I made reservations for celebration of our 3yr wedding anniversary. It was a perfect place for us to have a romantic dinner, excellent ambiance, not overcrowded and the latin music was wonderful. I loved the art and decorations in the restaurant as well. I felt like I was in a small cafe somewhere downtown Spain. The waitress was attentive and very pleasant. She was kind and helpful because we had some questions about the menu. They have this cute couch like a loveseat in the dining area that me and my wife sat in, very romantic. We started with a house salad that was scrumptious. Lovely little family owned restaurant in West Allis that deserves more love! Every dish I had was delicious and highlighted creative, vibrant takes on classic dishes. I loved the sundried tomato and pumpkin seed guacamole and the cauliflower walnut tacos in particular. Their paella also looked really good I'll plan to order it the next time I come back with a bigger group. Despite how it may appear online, they have tons of vegetarian options, with even a separate menu just for vegetarians. They also have tons of food and drink specials throughout the week, including Sangria Sunday and Wine Wednesdays. Prices were very reasonable and my server was very friendly. You must eat here. We were visiting MKE and found this place near our hotel. The food was spectacular. The empanadas were perfectly cooked with the best combination of texture and crispiness of the crust. The guacamole with pumpkin seeds was amazing. Everything brought to the table was supurbly prepared and alive with flavor. The service matched food. Staff was friendly, prompt, personable and professional. Can't wait to go back.

This was my 2nd visit to this place. Absolutely love it. Great drinks, delicious food, and really great friendly service. I highly recommend their Salty air margarita and the walnut tacos pictured in this review.

Their leek soup is out of this world! Love the bread and cream spread they provide at the table.
