Anzengruber - Reservar uma mesa

When I lived in Vienna 20 years ago, the Pints and the Schnitzel were absolutely the best in this café. Now the portions are smaller, the prices are more expensive and even if the waiters are as old-fashioned and the atmosphere was not so pleasant. That said it remains a great place to watch football during tournaments like the Euro Cup and you could do significantly worse food, but if you are looking for a traditional café to have an unforgettable Viennese meal, this is probably not the place.

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and there were no tables the first night we tried to visit. The next day we were earlier as we had a concert booking and so easily got a seat. Both ordered the goulash and a salad with a drink. The goulash was amazing. The flavour was deep with a hint of spice and such a thick sauce. We would definitely have visited again had we had more time. Reasonable prices, friendly service.

A local led us to visit this pub as we couldn't find another place and it was pretty good!!! Great place to visit football and drink good beer! Schnitzel and Goulash were also very delicious with cheap prices!! Also propagates the service that over her age and the number of people she had to serve, she treats it great!! I definitely recommend this place and I would like to visit it again!

This place was just around the corner from our hotel. Cheerful and unpretentious with very friendly staff. Had to the have the schnitzel since we were in Vienna and so glad we did. They were delicious! Waiter recommend the potato salad and it was a very good choice.

This place is suggested by a local friend of mine. It was the best delicious schnitzel I had so far. I was there by myself, the house was full but they were so accomodating. They take reservations, keep that in mind. Prices are very reasonable also.
