Aquila 2 - Reservar uma mesa

We stopped here for lunch as we were attracted by the quaint exterior of the building. It’s an old converted barn. The inside has been modernised to a quite nice standard. The staff were great and welcoming. There did not seem to be any official starters so we decided to go directly for the pizzas. Wow! Great pizzas! Freshly made and good quality. The restaurant was full and we could not see any more vacant tables. Evidently it is populate with the local workers and I think the number of people coming to eat states the popularity of the restaurant. It is noisy, but it’s noise of happy people eating!

I went here for the second time, now having tried Pizza and Pasta. Pizza is good, the pasta could use somewhat more spices. But both times it was a good experience at 15 EUR including a glass of red wine. The interior is nice and functional, restrooms are clean. Overall a place to go if you are not looking for 'haute cuisine ' but a good meal at a reasonable price. I will surely come back again for a Pizza.

Inedible steak, but still presented with full bill when leaving. I was eventually offered a partial refund. 10 euros for a glass of wine and a few chips did not seam like good value

Once again very well, always as good. We're lucky to be so ready.

The chausson pizza was very good. very well received.
