Aroma Mexican Restaurant

My wife and I had supper tonight at Aroma Mexican restaurant and we were both really disappointed throughout. Service was very slow and with no charm or life to our waitress. Had the guacamole and chips as an appie and was totally dissatisfied. Had an off taste but when we told our server, she could care less. The salad had a goopy molasses like consistency and taste. The pork burrito was very tasty but the salsa was thin and runny, little flavour and no heat. Don't waste your time or money here.

This restaurant was mentioned by two locals and we thought it would be a night to have a relatively inexpensive dinner while on vacation. My first reaction was to tell my husband not to look on the floor...so dirty. We ordered chicken nachos which were so dry and took forever to arrive. We had to order salsa since we only had dry chips left, $3 extra. We shared the pork fajitas which were tasteless. $90 later, we left feeling ripped off.

My sister really wanted mexican food so we went here. The food is pricey like every other restaurant in town, but I wasn't overly impressed with the food or service. The people who waited on us were all very friendly, it was just busy and I think they were understaffed. I got a margherita that seemed like there was barely any alcohol in it. For anyone who is vegetarian, they offer vegetarian fajitas with tofu and vegetables.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was very cool. Our server was friendly and even used Spanish terms as she chatted with us, and taught us about Mexican traditions and traditional foods. The food was tasty, satisfying, and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for something different than the usual 'pub food' in Canmore. Reserve uma mesa agora

The food we enjoyed was very flavorful. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The Beuñelos for desert was the perfect way to cap off the evening after sharing a guacamole starter and chicken fajitas. I had a Spanish coffee with desert and it was also exceptionally well made. Would recommend stopping in when in the mood for a delightful authentic Mexican experience!

Just had a delicious meal here. Carnitas burrito. Was not expecting the unique serving style of the dish either or the very tummy way the chef grilled the burrito like a panini almost...it was delicious! Me gusto muchisimo....gracias! The atmosphere was good too, very nice music playing and nice things to look at. Would come back to try more dishes if I was a local!

Everything was so overpriced and extremely small portions. Chips and Salsa are NOT free here. $7.00 to be exact. 2nd small basket of chips will set you back another $3.00. Mango Margarita was full of ice chunks and without taste. Guacamole is runny ($12.00) perhaps made with mayonnaise ? Save your money for a higher rated restaurant.

Very authentic Mexican cuisine! Nice festive decor and they even have some ponchos and sombreros for you to wear while you eat!! Service was great and food was promt. Great place to grab a quick bite or have dinner and start your evening of with some shots of a favorite Mexican spirit! Tequila!! Reserve uma mesa agora

My family visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and we were all very impressed. We all ordered pork dishes and they tasted amazing. The service was a bit slow, but the delicious food made up for it!

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious. We ordered 5 dishes to share with my family and everything was incredible. We will definitely prioritize coming back here every time we are in the area.
