When traveling, I like to buy souvenirs related to the culture and place I visit. When visiting Leticia, I found out this place that offers different kinds of 'mermeladas' (jams) made out of Amazonian fruits. They also have Amazonian herbal tea and Amazonian chili peppers.If you like to buy some 'food' to bring home for you or for somebody else, this is a good option. Just remember you must put all you buy in your checked luggage.

If you want to try something simple, tasty and completely local as casabe, this is the perfect place. The restaurant is clean, clean and beautifully furnished. Un lugar sencillo pero con una comida muy rica y lo mejor los precios son bastante cómodos. La tapioca de pescado con sus fabulosos ajies es una delicia.
