The food was amazing, apart from the last time, we have said that if we have them before that there are more vegan options for my party. I lent and booked 8 days in advance and when we showed up, had a vegan...option for a starter and main that was the same when we did not inform. The people who served the food were also great, but the main front of the house lacked the welcome touch. We were a big party and wanted an itemise template after we requested one, we got a pretty attitude and they really need a system that would give them this detail so that the party can share the bill properly. Went for Sunday lunch as Jen recommended it from her past visits. There was a friendly welcome and it seemed well run with a short wait in the bar whilst ordering and then we were moved into the restaurant. All the food didn't dissapoint and...everything was perfectly cooked. I had the pork belly and Jen had the chicken, but I have to say the star of the show was the carrot. I even rated it above the carrot that I had at Everards Meadows, praise indeed! We had 3 courses and the dessert just about beat us. I thought it was great value for money and will definitely be back in the future. Great food with great company, can't beat that for Sunday lunch!

had a great lunch today. the food was great and each cure is winner for taste and texture. the service was before place, beautiful and informative, but always there. our 21 months old infant loved it too and ate all 3 courses. the weeping were beautiful as the beer we thought that the portions were generous for fine eating. all in all a good meal that we all enjoyed

We booked the newly opened Private Dining room. It was a set menu and was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The food was some of the best I have eaten!!!! The staff were knowledgeable and explained every course in great detail of which...there were many) I would definitely recommend this room if you are a party of 8...

we've been using ashfields for decades. After it has changed its own, we used it less. eating is really good, unfortunately it has lost for me that little additional customer service on the servier side, which makes it cut. as I said, eating is nice, tasty and a good menu that is a great choice.
