Asturum - Reservar uma mesa

We love Spain and the food. This time, we were traveling along a part of the pilgrim route to Santiago, but not heading there. We saw a neat little roadside restaurant and they had a TripAdvisor sign on the door. The sign outside the restaurant said, Pilgrim Menu 9 Euro . We were not pilgrims, but such meals are usually about 10 35% less than normal meals. The owner, who used to work in Switzerland, told he had a special holiday meal, but would not tell us what it was just that it was a regional specialty for Mary 's Ascension Day. We are adventurous folks and always like to try regional specialties. The best I can say for the meal is that the portions were huge. First came a plate of bread....

Easygoing Meson in this lovely small village. All in and all day Pilgrims menu and some a la carte dishes. The all in menu was excellent value for €10 pp. A great starter of a plate with quality thinly sliced air dried ham, beef, sausage and a wedge of good cheese. Main course of delicious fried pork loin with mixed salad. Ice cream for dessert. Good bread and a bottle of wine for 2 persons included. Friendly owner. Recommended.

We went here and had the 10 euro fixed price dinner. We had great noodle soup, good grilled pork, excellent tomatoes in the salad, and a good dessert. It also included quality bread and a drink (red wine mineral water (750 ml! .

Recomiendo el cocido maragato, buena relacion calidad-precio. Entorno y lugar precioso. Buen vino, buen servicio.
