At East Sussex National Resort

The staff were efficient ,and friendly. The food was delicious I should have ordered a side of vegetables as the a la carte menu didn't come with veg so it would have been handy if the waitress had explained that. But that's not their fault I should have realised. But the food we did have was really good ..definatle compliments to the chef and the staff and it was a very enjoyable experience

The food was very good, and the staff were pleasant. Unfortunately during these times they were very short staffed. The views are lovely but the acoustics in the restaurant are poor. Although a chilly May evening the AC was throwing out cold air and, like ourselves, many diners asked to move tables, which was very frustrating for the staff who were already under pressure with service.

The food was delicious, although I wish the waitress had mentioned that ordering a side of vegetables was necessary as the a la carte menu did not come with any. However, this was my oversight. Overall, the food was really good and I would like to give compliments to the chef and staff for a pleasant dining experience.

Ilse was an amazing host. She ensured that we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. My wife and I had a lovely dining experience at a reasonable price. We could tell that the restaurant could use a bit more ambiance.

Ilse was a fantastic host. She made sure we were ok and that the food was good. I came with my wife and we had a nice meal at a reasonable price. Could do with a little more of a restaurant feel.
