At Gainsborough House

I recently attended a Christmas party-style lunch with entertainment at this restaurant. There were lots of coach parties and people eager to have a good time. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food - it was cheap, barely warm, and tasteless, especially considering the high price of £40 per person. Most of the patrons were senior citizens who felt like they were being taken advantage of. The Sunday brunch at this restaurant was delicious, but the staff seemed busy preparing for the next meal which made us feel uncomfortable and like we were in the way. Breakfast was also similar, as we had to ask for bread for toast and many items on the buffet were in short supply and being put away. Despite not being late for breakfast, we felt like we were in the staff's way. However, the staff were friendly and happily provided us with what we asked for. Overall, we enjoyed the food but felt like we were constantly in the way.

The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes and the service is excellent with a friendly attitude. We would definitely return when we are in town again.
