At Nine Restaurant Bar

A very small restaurant, understandable given it's location, but they either won't or don't take reservations. I called a week out to make a reservation for 2 and was told we wouldn't need one. We arrived, and there was a line out the door. So find a time that isn't lunch or dinner to go since otherwise you'll stand on the street waiting, which you don't need to do since it's 9th Ave and there are literally 100 other restaurants to choose from within close walking distance. We went elsewhere.

As a tourist, you hope to find a local little spot with reasonably priced food and alcohol. This is the place!! Happy Hour $9 drinks (which is cheap in NYC apparently , we were SO happy to find @9. 5 drinks, 3 apps and an entree for a total of $103 bucks, not bad!!Great staff, food, drinks and prices!Now, open one in Virginia Beach for me :

Fun place for dinner and cocktails. Nice variety of Asian food, great atmosphere. Not a lot of seating inside, but they take reservations. Great option for dinner especially if you’re around Times Square.Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian options (and some vegan) like noodles, tofu, spring rolls.

We chose this restaurant b/c it was close to the theater we were going to visit that night. It was a wonderful experience. Friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices in an original and cozy decor. This is a small place where reservations are a must. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Cool vibes and decent food for a great price point. The servers seemed grumpy and in a rush to clear us out, which kind of ruined our time there. Would recommend the lunch specials that come with a starter. MostFood: 4/5
