This restaurant is based just a few steps from the grand port, far away to be local and close a enough to be able to cater the more adventurous tourist. It’s located in a small commercial strip, surrounded by free parking. This makes it look a bit shabby but as the terrace was packed when we arrived we were convinced to come across a hidden gem. And indeed, we had! Good, fresh food made ready to order, brought to you by a genuine smiling waitress, all without fuss or cosmetics. My husband settled on the fried fish (as did about ever other person in the restaurant), I decided to go for the beef and tuna steak tartare. Hand cut! Been to this restaurant several times over the years when in the area for business. Always found the food to be of a good standard and the price not to excessive for a tourist area.The staff are always helpful and the service resonably quick even when the restaurant is busy in the summer months

Unlike most of the other places near the port area, this restaurant offers good food and service in a very comfortable ambiance. Nice selection of good quality wines. We paid 60 euros per head for three courses and two bottles of wine (37 each).

We had a great dinner here with our family of 4. The food was delicious we had the grilled gambas and tuna. Excellent and friendly service. Whilst not at the side of the lake unlike many other restaurants, this one tops in food and service!
