This place is the LOCAL HOT SPOT! With a menu that includes some great comfort food like burgers, fries, gyros, greek chicken, italian beef sandwiches, chicago dogs and more...there is something tasty for everyone! The food comes out hot delicious! The service is great. They are so friendly and welcoming to their customers. If you want food done right, THIS IS the place to come. The Greek chicken was so tasty and filled with flavor. The burgers are tall with all the fixings. I was deeply impressed with the food at this hidden gem on 127th Street.

Since I discovered this restaurant on my way to work, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The gyros are packed full of meat and overflowing with flavor! The Chicken Parmesan dinner and the half Greek chicken dinner are both very satisfying and can easily feed multiple people. The owner is dependable and manages the business well. Unfortunately, my next contract will take me out of Illinois, but I'm truly grateful to have found this place.

Come here a lot but never took the time to review, gyros are amazing, always fresh, hot, juicy, and very good quality meat, best you can get around and a very good price compared to Pop's or Nicky's, very good and courteous service, clean area, definitely gives off a very down to earth, local atmosphere, which makes me appreciate it even more

The food here is delicious! I tried the Italian Beef and Philly Steak, and my mom is a huge fan of their hamburgers. It's honestly the best food I've ever tasted, and I've been to many places. Five big stars for Athens Gyro in Alsip!
