Au Tilleul - Reservar uma mesa

Wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling. We don't speak a word of French, so were a little hesitant, as well realize this is more of a local and neighborhood establishment. The staff were wonderful. The chef came out of the kitchen to help us, as he spoke a little english. The food was remarkable and we won't forget our visit here.

Pretty good dishes overall, but a lot of waiting, and a totally non-existent service. Apart from the apéro, the waitress didn't offer us anything else to drink....

This is a very good place for Alsatian food in this area. The tarte flambee were great and the wines were equally good.

Perfect except the old-fashioned frame. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.
