Au Vieux Duluth - Reservar uma mesa

We decided to try out this restaurant during a short visit to Levis, Quebec. It was located in a mall next to a movie theater. They do not have a wine list, so you can bring your own. The steaks were cooked well, but the plates had confusing accompaniments. It's important to request a waiter who speaks English (or speak French yourself) and be aware of French Canadian idioms. The food was decent, but the service was a bit slow and the prices were reasonable. We may explore other dining options next time we visit the area.

On a recent trip to Quebec City we tried Au Vieux Duluth and it was a mistake. Our meal was average at best. I had the pork wrapped in bacon which sounded good but poorly executed. The bacon was not crisp but rubbery and flaccid while the pork loin overdone. It was covered in a gravy hiding any taste of the pork. My wife had a similar experience with her dish. Service was just adequate and certainly not friendly. There are much better choices in the area...

We went here as it was near our hotel and we had no car. We didn't know it but if you want liquor you need to bring your own wine or beer. The meal was very good and it was a generous portion. Price was reasonable too.

I had Greek My husband had steak both were excellent. The only thing is you could not choose your sides. All meals came with the salad on the dinner plate with rice- the rice was good, though

This restaurant serves typical Greek and Canadian food. The portion sizes are generous, and the staff are bilingual and attentive. A good option for a meal during a road trip.
