What makes a restaurant worth of going is three things, nice place, good food and how you are received. I found this quality in this restaurant.When you enter, even for the first time, you are received with a very warm welcome as if they know you for ages and I can tell, it is not of those fake acts , you feel the sincerity instantly. The owner is a very pleasant and cultures person and has a deep knowledge about music, books and especially food. He tells you what wine goes nicer with which food and I never doubt his judgment. The atmosphere of the service is very cordial and jovial, I thank the boss and his server who listens to his customers. The food is excellent, refined, very tasty, I congratulate all the cuisine, which adds the final touch, the highlight of an excellent time spent in this establishment.

The excellent menu, service and position were pampered by getting some basics wrong: the house Scallop Starter came with the scallops still part frozen. Given what you pay, it's inevitable. Beautiful local wines were good, but of course at Lake Geneva Essen is over price almost general
