We stayed for two nights and ate in the restaurant twice for dinner. We ate a la carte on the first night and had the arctic chard and foie gras for starters and the Bresse chicken for mains. All of the dishes were beautifully presented, using some fresh ingredients from their garden and were cooked perfectly. I had a sublime myrtille dessert and my husband had the fabulous poached figs. The next night we opted for the 'discovery ' menu, where we ate 'blind ' and had a refreshing selection of tomatoes prepared in different ways, stuffed trout with a shallot coating, duckling with gnocchi and a fantastic dessert made from peaches with an olive oil sorbet.
