Auberge de la Scierie

We have stayed in this lovely rustic hotel many, many times over the years and look forward to each visit. The grounds are lovely (there is a pool) and perfect for a nice dog walk, the rooms comfortable...but the dinner is where you would travel WAY out of the way for. Every dinner has been nothing less than perfect...right down to the fabulous dessert in the shape of a swan swimming on a puddle of creme. The chef is 5 !

Tout le monde est très courtois et souriant ..le service est impeccable Les entrées fois gras sont délicieux et les plats le sont également brochettes de st Jacques... Je recommande cette adresse !

Despite the outdated decor of the hotel and restaurant dinner was excellent. The cook put all his heart and soul into the dishes. The three pans of Logis are well deserved.

Good set menu for 34 euros. Foi gras, cured salmon starters were excellent. Good selection of wines. Friendly helpful service (but basic french useful!
