We eat here very often, and have organised big parties here before. If you are a tour group you can do very well here instead of the expensive menus in central Lyon, and a car or tour bus will get here in 35 minutes or so, which is probably the same time you will travel from one place to another in town anyway with the traffic jams and parking problems. Great for summer, as you can walk around here, visit the aqueducts, then eat at the restaurant. The village has a famous Sunday market too. The restaurant doesn't look very fancy from outside, but it's cosy inside, has an outdoor terrace, and the food is excellent and very good value. We moved to town a few weeks ago and so far this is our favorite local restaurant. It’s a nice place with delicious food, a cozy and very cute interior, incredible service (Vanessa always helps us and she is THE BEST despite our terrible French… she always is quick to offer to help us in English) and they are so kind and patient with our not terribly well behaved children. They are quick to book us in a last minute reservation even when they are very full. We very much appreciate the family neighborhood atmosphere they’ve created here. I cannot wait until spring when the beautiful patio fully opens up. It looks like it will be gorgeous.

the last time I have been in that place was with my mother- she is 93- we don 't have been very happy. it 's very common and expensive ,something as what the frenchs call grande cavalerie .so okay for a glass of wine and so few for food.gravies are all non home made ones. breavely spoken it 's not the rightest place for meeting the french cuisine in chaponost

Went there twice for lunch during the week and was agreably surprised nice food, lovely setting on the terrace, fast service, lovely deserts and all all for a very good price <20 euros)
