Auberge des Vignes

What a luxury to sit and eat, looking out onto the gloriously green vines stretching towards the little village of Volnay. The two ladies who served us were friendly and happy. The menu allowed for many choices and the sauces were delicious. The lunch menu was very reasonably priced as were the courses on the a la carte menu. You can eat inside or out and it is a much bigger place than it seems from the entrance. If you're looking for somewhere peaceful, to eat good food and enjoy the ambience of being in amongst the Burgundian vines, you couldn't get much better.

Our first visit here despite taking holidays in the area for 30 years. It's a bit like Dr Who's Tardis being much bigger on the inside than first imagined. Two rooms inside and a beautiful terrace sheltered from the sun. The terrace looks across the vines to Volnay where we had a terrific Formule lunch of 3 courses, no choices, for €17. There are more expensive Formule with choices plus a good a la carte. Excellently wine list too.

What a gem of a restaurant. Located in the heart of Cote de Beaune overlooking the famous Montrachet vineyards you will find this exceptional restaurant. Great traditional menu of favorite Bourgogne specialties. We were seated outside under a beautiful tree on the edge of the vineyards & order wine from vineyards that we could see from our table. What a magnificent venue to enhance our day of wine tastings in Burgandy!

We were recommended this little gem by our hotel just outside Beaune for dinner and we loved it. Beautiful setting right on the edge of the vineyards of Volnay with a view of the village of Volnay and Pommard a little further down the road. The food was delicious and fresh and the wine selection was equally varied and convincing. A great stop and a place we will happily come back to with the family. Reserve uma mesa agora

It's 12 months since our previous visit and some things have changed, others not. The location is fantastic looking across the vines to Volnay or Pommard, the decor is perfect and the service outstanding. But the food quality has decreased and no longer seems value for money, smaller portions and less attention to detail/requests. The people are charming but we are now reluctant to return.

We found this auberge just as our body clocks were chiming - lunch. How fortunate it was to be passing and we were not disappointed with the service, view and especially the food. A small terrace out the back looked out over the vines of Pommard and had a welcome breeze in an otherwise hot day. We only had a single course for lunch but would love to come back for 'the works' one evening.

It used to be a great little Restaurant. But something happened !!!!!! Sitting on the terrace on the edge of the Vinyard is really fantastic. But the food is definitely not good. The chicken liver salad for 16 euros is just big enough for an appetizer. The apple tart is limpy and tasteless. The service is ok but nothing special. So many local places are good in the area !!!!!!

We visited this restaurant with family and friends several times in August and it never disappointed us. The warm welcome and varied menu make it a winner, plus, fantastic views of the vineyards from the terrace. Their burger is just sensational! as is the tomato velute! Reserve uma mesa agora
