Auberge Du Moulin - Reservar uma mesa

My family and our friends had the great pleasure of visiting the Augerge Du Moulin at the beginning of August. The drive up to the village is a little hairy but well worth it. We originally planned to stop for a drink and a light snack but having the most wonderful greeting from Matthew we very quickly decided upon their Gastronomical menu. They were able to cater so very well for a few special requirements that we had without any problem whatsoever and the quality of the food that turned up was of the highest standard and well worth the Michelin star they are looking to achieve. Couple with 3 children Reopening of the hostel. We went there a few years ago. Change of ownership. The welcome is perfect! Adaptation of the menu for little ones (with lower price and portion) just pleasant! An appetizer from the chef, fresh and delicious. Mastered dishes offered on the menu. Even generous portions. Classic desserts with a homemade touch from the chef! The server at the top The boss in the dining room is just as pleasant and the chef's visit to the dining room. These are restaurants that make you want to go back. Small downside for my taste, a little more choice in red wine. But otherwise everything is perfect!!!! Thanks again to the hostel and its staff

My wife and I had the prix fixe lunch. My began with a course of Italian-style thin-cut veal in a cream sauce, followed by Nicois ravioli (beef ravioli in a thick beef end red wine sauce , and finally panacotta. My wife had a salad with roasted chevre medallions on baguette toast and a cheese plate. All of the food was superb, and the service was friendly and excellent. (The waiter, a brother of the cooks, speaks fluent English. The setting and the view are both outstanding. We were charmed by the restaurant, and the nearby village is worth visiting.

Very top of the mountain, as in you can see down both sides from one point. The restaurant is small (10 tables), so I recommend reservations. The food is 2-3 choices. We chose a fish and a meat dish, absolutely delicious. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours and be hungry! Appetizer, sweet potato ravioli and the entre' followed by a wonderful fruit/cream. Of course let the waiter pick a nice wine. Take a cup of coffee outside. Then get the key to the church, it is small but quite wonderful.

By far the best restaurant on the coast! Excellent cuisine, always seasonal, local and changes all the time depending on availability. The welcome is extremely warm and welcoming. The setting is simply incredible in the old mill of this hilltop village. I highly recommend coming!
