Auberge La Douce Montagne

Best food I 've had at a ski resort in a long while! Fresh, whole ingredients, would recommend. Wonderful food, great atmosphere. Especially loved the servers, lovely mix of personalities, didn 't have a need or want that went unmet. And so cheap ! 20 euros gets you the whole shabang. Meat or no meat, needs were again met efficiently and a cherry on top. Don 't look anywhere else, I 've tried 'em all in Allemond and they take the cake by a country mile !

This is not a culinary review but a note on extraordinary support. My wife reacted suddenly very bad on pain medication following a skiing incident. The owner was extremely supportive helping us through a difficult moment. Even did not charge for a portion of the meal we already consumed. This shows the basic values this auberge represents and I’m sure is also reflected in the overall quality and service..

This restaurant is wonderful. The staff speak multiple languages and for me, I was happy that they spoke English. The menu has a variety of selctions and I enjoyed the fish as well as the fresh vegatables. The dessert was even better. Everyone is very accomodating and the atmosphere is inviting. I would recommend a stay at the hotel or to enjoy a meal.

6 of us had dinner here after day out cycling. Staff were friendly and efficient. Prices were ok, food was very good. Decent menu, including a few options for vergitarians, not always a given in France. Happy to recommend and would return.

Such a nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food for good value. Love it, would definitly visit again!
