Aubier Maree - Reservar uma mesa

We had an excellent oyster and moules frites meal at Aubier Marée. We arrived early for lunch, and by the time we 'd eaten, the restaurant was packed out and this was on a Monday lunchtime! The service was excellent, the food couldn 't have been fresher, and a glimpse into the kitchen showed that it was spotlessly clean, even though the restaurant is little more than a hut on the quayside. Specialising in oysters, of course, in this location, the majority of customers, like ourselves, were eating oysters and moules. We were intrigued by the local 'Eclade ' method of cooking moules, whereby the fresh mussels are wedged into a wooded frame, placed inside a barbecue, and covered with dry hay or...

My hubby and I had a memorable seafood dining experience here. The team of staff were very friendly and warm. As I don't speak French, the girl who our orders switched to speaking English with me. It was the first time we tried Eclade de Moules. Dimitri (super enthusiastic and friendly) seems to be an experienced master cook, explained to my hubby (in French) the process of smoking the mussels. After 10minutes, the fresh mussels cooked among burning pine needles were ready for us. We totally enjoyed the fresh oysters and Eclade de Moules. Friends who saw my postings about this place have already made plans to visit

We were a group of 5 feeling disappointed that a well liked restaurant in the Tremblade area was not open for business at the moment so we drove to La Greve to find something 'local ' rather than for tourists and came across Aubier Maree. Excellent fresh sea food and good to see many French customers. Efficient staff and good service. We will definitely recommend and return....possibly for the shell fish platter which looked amazing.

A great place to have the local specialty, the mussels cooked in a barbecue called éclade de moules . The service is amazing and the place have a nice view.
